I haven't been watching any of the newer animated stuff, but Dark Knight Returns might be my favorite Batman thing ever. He was giving no fucks, breaking limbs, and then there was that last boss fight.
Not having read, well, any comics, I am enjoying the crap out of these Batman animated features. I purchased both parts of Dark Knight Returns on iTunes, watched Year One on Netflix last night, and am watching Under the Red Hood right now on Netflix. While not having ever read the comics, I was always, and still am, a huge fan fan of the animated series. I have found these to be amazing and offer a side of Batman I have never seen before. Hope they keep pumping these out as I will continue to watch them.

Just watched Batman Year One, it was excellent.
They even changed the one thing that used to really bug me about it: Bruce breaking those cuffs in the backseat of the cop car.

Hey, Flashpoint was great! I wonder if it has anything to do with me getting disinterested in it when it was coming out, and them having to condense it to an hour and a half.
Also: Starts up the New 52 Darkseid War at the end.
Flashpoint the comics were great too. It's not too late to read them.
I read them all but it was all over the place.
