Huh. Might go there instead of just driving up my street to the Ikea here next time I need bookshelves.

It's fake guys. Guaranteed.
Not quite. From GoNintendo:
So the program is real, but they're giving it a 'test run' in the fringes of America first. It seems to be generating a lot of complaints but they also expect a lot of business... so who knows if this gets beyond the trial phase. Here’s the deal with the “trade $50 worth of stuff for a pre-order deposit” rumor. This rumor is true…however there is a catch. As of right now, Gamestop is doing a test run of this “offer” in the state of Hawaii and the island of Guam ONLY.All the details you posted last night are correct, but as of right now, this is only going to take place in the aforementioned regions (Hawaii & Guam).
The second call was to Software Etc. #1366 (which is owned by Gamestop) in Honolulu at (808) 947-1164. He gave me the entire set of details (mentioned above) and said that he had received numerous complaints about the programs since it was announced yesterday. He said they expect a large crowd on Monday when the “trade your entire game collection for a Wii/PS3 pre-order” program begins.
Yeah, that does unfair. I guess it doesn't bother me much coz I mostly stay clear of the brand new expensive titles. The games I buy are in the 20$ price range, which they usually buy back for around 15$. I guess it varies locally how cheap they are. Last time I used them, they gave me 205$ for 8 mediocre GC games. I felt that was very fair.
Yeah, mediocre GC games would definitely not get you 25 dollars here.
