  2. It uses 2 AAs. And they last like 45 minutes to an hour. That may have improved as they've released BIOS updates, but yeah... make sure you have those super long life lithium rechargables.

  4. Ah, it looks like there's a new model out. Thank god. I might get one myself, then.

    Guaruntee that 5 hours is optimistic, but it probably gets at least 3 now. Still make sure to have good rechargables.

    Because it's much, much better at emulation and homebrews than the PSP, and you don't have to go through the hassle of firmware incompatibilites with retail games.
