You are 100% correct! Seriously, middle school kids can be the WORST sometimes. I have taught many high school classes at some of the so called "worst schools" in Southern California...but they pale in comparison to the little bastards at the middle schools. I never thought 12 year olds could be so freaking evil! So, yes, when I read this story I actually laughed because I could imagine this happening.

Seriously, I always find it funny about how so many people write movies and books about how torturous their high school experiences were. As a teacher, middle school kids have been far worse, and even thinking back to my days of going to school Middle School was horrific. All the students were assholes at my middle school and they made my life (and especially the teacher's lives) hell. I was actually able to blend into the background and actually have a little bit of fun in high school with no problems whatsoever.

But yeah...I could actually see myself getting irritated enough to throw about ten of those students out of a window last Tuesday.

If I recall correctly, it gets pretty bad right at that age in middle school when everyone starts puberity. I remember kids getting angry really easily, and the answer to it was always to beat the crap out of the other kid.

I was smarter than all of that at the time, but I do distinctly remember teachers complaining about it, and how the 7th and 8th grade was the worst grades to teach.
