Shooting Star Rockman

so this game comes out next week or something. and it looks like all 3 versions made it over. leo, pegasus and dragon.



anyone else picking this up? kidnemo? finch? we can "brother band" and trade chips an junk. unfortunately, it looks like there's no wifi vs availabe. but the second game is already under way (30% complete according to wikipedia) and will have wifi vs and "freer movement in battle." maybe you'll be able to move all over the grid as apposed to just left and right.

also, i really like this image...



but i'm a little upset that original megaman isn't in the front.

I'm actually getting near the end of mmbn3 (I forgot I never beat it) right now, I just took a break from running around the undernet to check my email.

I only played a few minutes of mmbn4, I can't remember anything about it in fact.

Well I remember it has the new graphics, but that's really it.

Why should I skip 4 and go to 5 again? (I'm sure we've had this conversation before).

I'm pretty sure I have 5 sitting sealed on the shelf, can't remember for sure though.

Also - that 20th ann. shot is sexy!

bn4 was just a big hastle. it takes a while to get into, and you have to play through the game...3 times before you can get all the soul unisons and extra end game stuff. each time you beat the game it gets harder but...it also becomes tedious and repetitive...and a single playthrough is already pretty tedious/repetitive. i only made it past the second play through myself (recently) and i'll probably get through the 3rd some day. but...yeah, bn5 is much more straight forward (bn6 is more straight forward than that and pretty short) and feels like less of a chore overall.

I liked MMBN1, loved 2, started getting bored with 3, didn't bother with 4. This series can go die.

edit. I actually like mmbn up to 3, fours new graphics really turned me off.

Exactly how I felt about the situation. But one thing I do like about the series is how the robot masters are redesigned.

I am still not sold on the polygons for the battles.

I am however sold on Rockman.EXE Battle Chip Stadium.
