I think Studio 60 is the best. I can't really explain it, but I just find this show appealing. My second choice would be Heroes.
Just curious what people think is the best new show of this season. It seems like so many "big" new shows last season didn't even make it to this year.
Personally, Kidnapped may very well be the best new show to me. I didn't see the pilot, but damn was the second episode really, really good. It's high tension, good action and good drama with a good script and a really nice production design.
However, James Woods in Shark is phenomenal. The show is pretty much just another lawyer show, but Christ is James Woods good in it.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is done well, but I'm not sure it's going to hold my attention. The second ep got my hopes up though. I'm going to try to keep watching and hope it doesn't just fizzle out for me.
I like Smith a lot, but I think they need to ramp up the sex, drama and violence. There's something really 'clean' about the way a lot of this is depicted in a show about a heist crew. I guess I'm saying it doesn't seem to pack enough of a punch yet. However, I noticed something somewhat existential in the second episode. I'm curious where this is going as there are a couple of plot points already that should be entertaining to explore.
Heroes was disappointing and I didn't even have any expectations for it. I caught it in a Saturday night repeat. While the premise is interesting, man the script sucked. But the premise is good enough for me to watch out of curiosity to see if it gets better.
Jericho. Well, I only watched part of the pilot. I'm not going to watch anymore than that. Just didn't do anything for me so I ended up turning it off. I was a little saddened by that because Gerald McRaney from Simon & Simon and Major Dad is in it and he's awesome.
For the record, I don't plan on watching even all of the ones I like. I can see me definitely watching Kidnapped and Shark regularly though. And maybe Studio 60. Smith I'm wavering on, but hoping some of those subplots play out well. I could also see me not watching Kidnapped at all and buying it on dvd when it eventually comes out.
Poll coming.

I like Justice. It's so outrageously overblown and inaccurate, but it doesn't care. It takes itself so seriously that it almost comes off like a parody of the legal system, especially with what the name of the firm is (TNT & G). Too bad it's going to get axed soon.
P.S. - Although exaggerated, the episode that contrasted L.A. and Orange County was pretty spot on.
I am not gonna watch any of this shit.
Best new show this Fall? The one with your mom. I forget the name. Cock-something-or-other.
Heroes also looks interesting, but I missed the first episode. I have no interest in the other choices.
Dolemite, the Bad-Ass King of all Pimps and Hustlers
Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww
Well, now that we know Heroes sucks the only thing i'm really looking forward to is Friday Night Lights. I think it has a chance to be really good.
Studio 60 is a good show. I'm not really interested in it though.
