Or he can run to the IT department and run off all websites you've been to at work or school. You can't play dumb when the Head of IT and your boss are sitting there, rattling off websites you visited and how long you were on it. That's how I lost a job. It doesn't matter if your pic is on the site or your name. They can trace you.

That pretty much sums it up -- plus he was already making a transition to be a more active freelancer for IGN which ultimately led to him being hired as a full-time editor.
