Thread: How important is the internet to your gaming (purchasing-wise)?

  1. Well since I'm a huge importer, and have no import shops within 150 miles of me, I kinda have to turn to the internet for games from the US As for anything domestic, I find it in a store to buy it.

  2. Since 90% of my purchases are imports and games for discontinued systems, I'm pretty much forced to shop online. Not that its a bad thing. I'd probably just about stop buying games without the internet as there are no local stores that sell imports or Saturn games. Not to mention, they are all clearing out Dc games as well. Sure, I could still buy an occaisional Ps2 or xbox game, but for the most part I'd be screwed.

  3. I'd die without it. The internet affords me the ability to have every single purchase I make justified on message boards by posting things like "Did I make a mistake buying a Cube?" I just can't enjoy a system or a game without a group of hardcore gamers telling me it's ok to own, and shaming me into trading ones that aren't hardcore enough.

    Thank you, TNL.

  4. Thanks to the internet I saved some money on Shenmue II. Plus I get the heads up on the newest releases, and I can do price comparisons also.

The wait is the only sucky thing about it though, but the wait is (hopefully) worth it.
