Excellent my friend. Excellent.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
I have to admit ever since someone in here showed that rally impreza, the current model has grown on me a lot. I see it on the road and can appreciate it a lot more.
I got my bike today. LOVE IT!Too bad it's 45 degrees out and raining. Didn't stop me from going on two rides though.
Come on spring!!!!!!
So what can of wax can you guys recommend?

Personally... I like the following method:
Wash the car (duh.) Washing the car with Dawn can help get rid of old wax, if that is a problem. Then I like to use the Meguire's three step process- paint cleaner, polish, wax. I should point out, this is a LOT of work, expecially with the paint cleaner. You may also polish multiple times if you really like your car to shine (the polish makes the car shine, not the wax.)
After a bit, I like to go over the car with some Nu Finish also. Nu Finish is lazy man's wax. It's not really a wax at all, it's a polish, but it's easy as hell to use. Wipe on, let dry, wipe off. My reasoning is that I do the REAL waxing once a year. The wax is still there protecting the car, so there shouldn't be any sediments stuck in the paint that can't be easily washed off, the Nu Finish just makes the car shinier. I like my car extra shiny, since it draws your eyes away from the fact that the pain job has nicks in it.
That's just what I like to use. A lot of the show car guys swear by Zaino, but nobody's car looked better than my 91 RX-7 back when I had it.
Has anyone ever been a car savior? Lemme explain,
I recently bought a '91 Mazda b2600i from a friend who's a rocker/emo kind of guy, doesn't know much about cars or trucks.
I asked him what maintenance had been done to the truck, he told me it had a newish air filter but he thought it was overdue for oil (like 4 or 5 k overdue). He said he's NEVER touched the plugs/plug wires/fan belts/pcv valve/valve cover gasket (the engine is leaking oil at the top of the engine/no alignment by a shop/no new distributor cap or anything like that.
So I went and started this laundry list of a tune up and swapped the plugs and was VERY shocked at what I found.
Factory gap tolerances are .043 for the spark plugs. The truck had plugs that were so worn out that they were all "gapped" out to like .055~.060, a significant difference. If this thing was running under those conditions then holy shit when I rebuild the engine in the next two years or so holy shit will it last me FOREVER.

Bojack~ My sisters B/F is a mechanic and he did the same thing to my car. HOLY SHIT the car runs twenty times better, gas mileage down, and its faster than its ever been.
So yeah, my sisters b/f is a car savior.
