I have no speeding tickets, almost got one doing 50 in a 35 though. That was fun.
So far I am actually ticket less, I have only been pulled over once for not having my headlights on at 5 am in the morning after coming home from afterprom (not drunk) because my car has running lights and I was driving my dad's sebring so I kinda forgot to turn the lights two clicks instead of just one for the inside lights. cop let me off and I was freeee.
I go no more than 10 miles higher than the speed limit on high ways, and I laugh at anyone who goes more than that. I like to do the math on how much time it saves. If I go 80 mph on average, my trip would be about 1 and a half minutes shorter in theory. 3 minutes if you include the cars that may be cockblocking me later that I pass.

Too many. Lets put it like this.
NJ + Asian + usually red car = 12 points on license.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
One ticket. And man, such BS.
I was headed to school in Iowa. I see a few guys up on the overpass, get closer and yup it's a cop with a gun. As soon as I pass under the overpass there's like 8 cop cars just sitting there, picking off people left and right. Ticketed for going 75 in a 65.
I later learned that people and local businesses donate money to Iowa cops to host these speed traps.
I also like how the speed limit on Iowa freeways is now 70. 75 in a 70 and they probably wouldn't have even bothered with me, speed trap or not.
74 in a 60. I shouldn't have gotten caught but I was stupid and new to highway driving.
That's only true if you're road tripping it and on the freeway all day. For normal commutes, speeding doesn't usually save any time at all. There have been many many times here where a coworker will pass me on the way to work, going about 85-90, and I'm cruising along at 70 (the speed limit), just to meet back up with them at the first red light after the exit.
That's exactly what I was saying.
I've only gotten one ticket, but it was a doozy. The city had recently changed the limit due to a school opening on the road, and it was now a safety zone, 40 KPH. Only problem is it used to be 60 KPH, and I drove on it like anyone normally would....so I was going 70KPH. I probably could have fought it, since it was literally that day the signs had changed. But I figured I should have known better. They have since changed the signs again to a 40 when the lights are blinking thing, so it must have pissed a large number of people off.
Oh no, never
Only way I'd get one is if I could hide it somewhere. I don't want that shit on my dashboard in the event I do get pulled over and a cop is peering at me WITH THOSE EYES.
Also, I have no speeding tickets but I did get pulled over for expired tags...that I'd been driving on for about a year. Car was registered to my mom who lives a few hours away and I couldn't renew until I got her to sign the title and passed smog. Finally got the car smogged, drove to the DMV which had closed, and on my way back home I got pulled over. It was a $10 ticket.
