I just googled Verizon 5gb cap, and got a bunch of stories on how ADSL all over the world have caps, and charge a $ amount per GB after said cap.
Bullshit imo.

Ive been on fios for almost 2 years. Thats BS about the cap as some months Ive done almost 50GB with no problems. Im on the 15mbps package
Also this dedicated network is also bullshit. If you have a fast enough connection it doesnt matter.

LOL marketing an ancient server technology to the gamer crowrd and only seeing a 2-8% gain for 200-300 bucks, lol
I guess if you want to squeeze a couple of milliseconds and you are a top pro gamer in a competition for a million bucks this might help. but being realistsic its really not worth the money, especially for the average person.
This is all hype marketing, and unless there are side by side comparisons with benchmarks comparing gamerail to non gamerail on different types of connections, i highly suggest not to waste your $ on this smoke being blown up your ass

Cablevision capped my upload speed a few weeks ago. It was a hassle to get them to uncap it; they don't transfer you to the tech department that does it. They take your number and you have to wait until they call you (UTTER BULLSHIT). It took them two weeks (MORE BULLSHIT) before they called me, and when I asked them what's the upload limit so that I won't get capped again, the tech support guy refused to answer (BULLSHIT TRIFECTA). It's been two years and Verizon still can't get FIOS in my home, but when they finally do, I'm definitely jumping ship.

I went to speakeasy.net and used their speed tester (used the NYC server). My download rate is fine (1300-1500kbps) but my upload speed tops out at 17kbps. Last year I was torrent crazy so they probably capped me for that, but I haven't been downloading shit like that in a long time. I've been looking into my numbers and what my friends get normally and my speed is about 1/4 of theirs (my dad actually called them a few weeks ago and since my d/l speed has gone up). My friend that lives 2 houses over can send me a song in about 3 minutes at like 300kbps. If I try to send him the same file? It takes 16 minutes at 17kbps. It's rediculous. I have another PC and my 360 on the wireless network so I'd use a lot of bandwith normally. Makes me wonder if my upload speed is giving my the voice echo when I play on Live.
I want to know what to say to get this shit fixed ASAP. Sons of bitches pulled the "spyware slows your connection!" and "clear your temp internet files" horse shit when my dad called.
