I think it could've been released a tad shinier with a bit more features. Of course, this could all be quelled with a re-release of Sonic Jam. It's really not that hard. We're all just slightly tired of seeing Sega being lazy handling what once got them such a large following in the first place.

The same reason people cared about games like the Capcom compilation on the PSP: people like compilations of classic games on portables. That it's just a shitty port of the first game is irritating. And we're all aware it'll sell very well anyway, pretty much anything with Sonic does.

Sonic Jam took the Genesis Sonic games and reprogrammed them for the Saturn. They played far smoother than the recent collections...

Umm... If all the Sonic games were reprogrammed for Saturn, wouldn't doing a port of Sonic Jam defeat the propose of Sonic Jam since the machine would be emulating a Sega Saturn then?

Also, nothing is wrong with the before released Sonic collections -- the PS2/XB versions even let you save anywhere. Get off your elitist high horse.
