I managed to get 38 on my own, then I bumped that up to 43 after some hints. Eventually I gave up and got the answers.

They're not all horror movies, but they have some "darK" elements to them (hence, dark chocolate). Still, some of the movies were downright impossible for me, others were just had bad clues.
