technically I’ve had it for a week or two.
I put about 4 hours into it today. thats right guys, this game is more than a couple hours long
yes, it does have achievements. No, no custom soundtracks.
as far as I can tell, it has 4 main levels; lumber mill, suburbs, construction site, and downtown area. You start at the lumber mill and unlock the others. Each level has 20 missions. Missions consist of meeting certain requirements, like giving out 5 whoppers or giving out 5 cups of coffee without being seen.
Gameplay, as funny as this is, it is like and old school shooter. Yes, the king gets chains. For each food you give without being seen, your chain multiplier goes up. You also have a flourish multiplier. When you give someone food, a flourish gage goes off. The closer you get to the top, the higher the multiplier, 3 being the highest. You also get bonuses for hiding before you give food, and the amount of time between deliveries. The highest I've gotten so far was about 112,000 for one delivery (a normal delivery is only worth 100 points with no flourish, 400 with 3 level flourish). I did this by having a chain of 7 and hiding in a portapotty.
Graphics are ok. It's more like a xbox game than a 360 game. they did a good job on the king though.
The king. He is all that you could wish for. He walks like a daisy may. When he gives food, he does a little dance. The dance changes per level and flourish. You can also smash down the left analog stick and see from inside the mask, darth vader breath included.
the only unlockable I know of is the sneak king suit. I haven't unlocked it yet.
Is it awesome? Is it worth 4/5 bucks? I'd say so. Its at least $5 of awesome. There is a lot of game there, and it’s pretty faithful to the commercials. However, the gameplay is pretty repetitive. And half the time you will wish the king could run a lot faster. I also wish the king could beat people up.
buttcheeks should write for IGN.
