  1. Well, I bought interact controller for Xbox, and when I brought it home it wasnt working. Friking thing was brand new and out of the box. Never again I will care for interCrap product

  3. I've done some incredibly dumb stuff over the years.

    1. Back in 95 or 96, i bought my sega cd for $50. Slowly but surely I bought all the games EB had, but when it came to Lunar EB, i became a cheap ass, thinking it wasn't worth $50. For weeks, it sat there and I passed it by. When I finally decided to buy it, guess what? Some lame ass bought it.
    2. Another Sega CD game, Shining Force CD, was on sale at Toys R US for $6.99. $6. Friggin. 99. And you know what? Both me and Gerald passed on it because we, um, were, um, playing Beyond the Beyond. When we went back for it, the store dickhead bought it. And I'm not saying that cuz he bought it either.
    3. Not too long after the DC came out, a friend of mine wanted another controller to play Soul Calibur. i recommended a third party controller, and you know what it did? It screwed the system up so that none of the controller ports worked. I had to get a warranty and bring the system back the same day to make up for it. Kind of funny now that I think about it.
    4. The game that I've bought the most times is Wild Arms. The first time I sold it cuz I beat it. I bought it back cuz I missed it. Then I gave it to someone else when I lost one of their games. The next time I let someone use it and they lost it. And now I have it and I am not letting it go.
    5. Another Lunar EB situation. Around 98, I went to the Big Top flea market, and one of the videogame vendors had Lunar EB. he was selling it for $27, and warned me that when he brought it in the next day, that 5 people wanted it. I said I'd be back, but I dragged my feet over it. Low and behold, I went there too late, giving him a good chuckle.
    6. Last Lunar EB burn. When I went to my local funcoland, I went to buy the powerbase converter. Looking over the catalog, I noticed they had Lunar EB for $9. Once again I had my head in my ass, and didn't notice the person that was taking some of their games to another store. After 20 minutes, I decide to buy it, but the guy had shipped all their SCD games to another store.

... Phantasy Star 3 over THE GREATEST GAME EVER MADE!?!?!

... now THAT'S a blunder, considering how horrible PS3 is (it wouldn't have been so bad had it been PS4)

  5. Long passwords in old NES games used to be the bane in my existence. It always ticked me off everytime I input a really long password, only to find out that it doesn't work, especially when I was sure that I wrote it down correctly. It happened to me with quite a few games, namely Legacy of the Wizard, Lone Ranger and Snake's Revenge. Thank God for battery backup and memory cards.

And yeah InterAct's products sucks. I used to have one of their Six-Button Gamepads for my PC and only four of the buttons actually worked.

Another blunder that I made was giving my copy of the StarFox Competition Cart for Trade-In. What was I thinking?

Why do people hate Phantasy Star 3 so much? It's a good RPG and a worthy member of the series even if it's not part of the series' storyline.

  7. I've had some bad selling decisions over the years. I sold my Sega CD with Lunar, Snatcher, Vay, Dark Wizard, and about 15 other titles, for about $100. Snatcher alone, sells for over $50 on e-bay.

I already had a copy of Burning Rangers, and Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Saturn. I went into a Toys R US, and they had both titles for $20 each. I thought, why by another copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga, when I already have it. Man, I could have made some serious cash from Panzer on E-Bay.

  8. Well, a bunch of things. I've really screwed myself on a lot of purchases.

    1. Paying $180 for Radiant Silvergun because one of my good friends made it out to be, and I directly quote, "GOD ON A CD." It turns out that I bought a very nice shooter for about $100 too much. And to think that I could have bought 10-20 cheap games for that amount of money.

    2. Buying a used Saturn with three games for $100 dollars from a friend. The three games were Dragon Force, Virtual On, and Albert Odessey. Dragon Force and Virtual On are fantastic, and Albert Odessey is decent, but considering that the Saturn might be faulty (which caused me to lose all my SS saves), and that I could have gone to some mom-and-pop store and bought all of these for much less really makes me mad.

    3. Buying a Pro Action Replay. This thing is a piece of crap. It only works about 40% of the time, and it might have deleted all my saves. I should have just bought a mod-chip and an official Sega memory pak.

    4. I bought a lot of Saturn games that I REALLY regret buying. Like Fighting Vipers, Virtua Fighter 2, and Daytona USA. Now, originally these were great games, but at the time I bought them, I had options of buying better versions. And I later figured out that I really don't like 3d fighting games, and only a few racing games.

Because of those four situations, I've been really turned off at the idea of buying any other games for my Saturn. I really should just sell RS, buy a new Saturn, mod it, and buy an official memory pack. And a hopefully I'll have some cash left over to buy a few games.

I also regret buying a Capcom Fighter Power Stick for my Genesis when I don't have any games to use this with. . . I really don't know why I bought it.

Needless to say, I've learned a lot from these mistakes.

  9. A few years ago, I heard the legends about people actually playing through all 500 levels of Rampage for the NES in a single sitting. So me and a friend tried to recreate this ourselves.

Well, 150 boring levels later, my friend was sitting on the floor, along with the NES. He descide to stretch out his legs and accidentally taps the edge of the NES.

    The game froze, of course.

Several explatives later he rips out the game and tosses it across his room.

We've never played the game since.

    So, so bland and tedious.
