never use anything besides the internal memory or an official sega cart to save games. the 4-in-1's use the flash type memory or whatever and compress the data like the gameshark type things for the psx. i.e. BAD IDEA.

  2. selling Suikoden II, Tales of Destiny, and many other rare and expensive PSX games to pay for my $199 Dreamcast....at least dreamcast turned me into a hardcore sega fan, without the DC I would have never got into shmups, Saturn, or Genesis. THANK YOU!

Actually, the saves I have on the PAR are still there. Go figure.

  4. Not getting a Virtual Boy when it was real cheap at TRU. And not buying DBZ GT Final Bout before they were worth more than $100 each. (So I could sell it, not play it)

  5. Selling Radiant Silvergun for $10.
Gaming, er...I never bought Final Fantasy 3 for Snes. I would rent it, like nearly all my Snes games back then. I could take a whole weekend and go 30 hours into the game, but by the next time I rent it, my file would be erased by someone. Plus, there were multiple copies, but I peeled the sticker a bit to tag mine. My CvsSnk file was erased for some reason.

Trusting a ton of WWF WrestleMania 2000 and WWF No Mercy created wrestler saves to a 3rd part Interact card I got for FREE when I bought F-Zero X. Ugh, to this day I have not remade those CAWs.
Also, not buying a sealed copy of the Genesis version of Saturday Night Slam Masters when I had the chance, I waited a week, and it was gone. I spent five years tracking down a copy, settling for one off of Funco's site with a ripped up cart label. Ah well, the death match mode is worth it.
