it could be b/c i'm british, but i don't like tans. the more pale/see-through you are, the better.

i'm not even british but i agree with this. i like pale. plus, it's healthier. i wear spf50 on my face daily.

I'm not too big on tan guys either. I'm not into the computer-paper-white skin, but fake tans and people that obviously give a shit too much about tanlines, bleh, I think it looks tacky. I burn very easily so I have to glob on sunblock every 40 minutes whenever I go somewhere sunny though, so maybe it's just because of that. I spent the majority of my SC vacation hiding under the shade of a towel.

orange skin is a huge turnoff. bleah. i never understood why people take all that time to do fake tans just to turn their skin orange.

i feel your pain about sunburn. i burn way too easily. i love the spray-on stuff for sunscreening up my body, just because of how quick and easy it is, and neutrogena makes spray-on in spf45. it's a lot more convenient than the lotions.
