The show's lost it's balls. In past seasons Jack would be forced to choose between Josh and preventing World War 3. Instead he's taken out of the loop and allowed to have it both ways (I'm sure Josh will be saved and WW3 averted). It's like Fox listened to the show's hype and is content to just have Jack run around like a superhero. Jack Bauer is a great character because he makes choices nobody else could make, not because he's great with a pistol.

I played Puzzle Quest while watching the show and focused on Puzzle Quest more.

I just don't give a shit.

I fell asleep on the scenes with the vice presidents slut and the russian spy.In this and the last episodes.

When I rewatched it, the thing was a train wreck. The Secret Service/Mike were just sitting in the fucking van not doing anything when it was clear her cover had been blown.Then the camera keeps cutting back to Mike with his mouth wide open watching this lady hit the spy with a lamp. Then they run in when shes almost strangled.wtf.

Unless Mikes the inside mole <gasp>

But, yeah this season hurts...

It's really sad when the Chinese storyline can't sustain the rest of the season and they have to go back to Jack's dad.

I hope Jack's dad survives; he's the only interesting new character to come out of this season. With good writing he's got great potential, and James Cromwell rules.

He does, but he doesn't fit this part at all. And did they add make up to make him look like he's 110 years old?

Yelling at Heller was awesome. but then Jack had to fag it up with Audrey and ruin everything.

The season should have ended with Jack jumping off the fucking cliff, and shooting himself in the face, mid-air.

Worst season ever. Ending a season with Jack staring at an ocean sunrise FTMFL. What was with that scene where Jack said to Buchanan "I'm not going because he's my nephew, I'm going because he's an innocent kid"? Since when has Jack been afraid to give special treatment to his family? He's shot innocent people in the face to prevent far less than World War 3.
