Thread: Coffee vs. Tea

  1. I got hooked on tea in japan, and really it was my drink of choice over there, but i had no idea how much caffenne i was putting in my body, so i quit upon coming back. Starbucks is still delicious though.

I'm definitely a fan of tea. Being from the Dirty South, iced tea is my preferred general use beverage. I don't drink sodas at all. My favorite teas are reds, oolong, and dragon well.

I like coffee, and developed a taste for it working in a cafe, but it upsets my stomach something fierce.

  3. I'm British so tea. I can drink that any time of day, all day. Coffee is my morning love. I really can't favour one over the other - they both have their place.
I like my women like I like my coffee. Covered in bees!

This is true of me too. Sweet Tea is the shiznit for cold beverages.

  5. Puerto Rican coffee FTW. I have one cup every evening, usually with some crackers or a slice of cake. Yum!

    Tea's cool too though.

It sucks when travelling, though, because ordering an iced tea outside of the south usually results in getting a glass of some horseshit vile powder mixed with water. Blech!

  7. Speaking of coffee and tea, sometimes I enjoy a Chai Charger, which is a chai tea with a shot of expresso in it. Tastes amazing but puts a hole in your wallet.

I've never heard of these. Where do you buy them?

I also enjoy a good glass of southern sweetened ice tea, but living in Wisconsin means that everybody here serves the tasteless unsweetened crap that no matter how many packets of sugar you add to it the stuff never tastes good.
    =/ why do they bother?

bad hot unsweet tea sounds like the biggest waste ever.
