Coffee vs. Tea

I'm definitely a fan of tea. Being from the Dirty South, iced tea is my preferred general use beverage. I don't drink sodas at all. My favorite teas are reds, oolong, and dragon well.

I like coffee, and developed a taste for it working in a cafe, but it upsets my stomach something fierce.

So I went to Starbucks to get a caramel frap as a result of this thread, and got it without whip cream cuz I hate that part...and it's just not as good.

I like both; it just depends on the flavor. If you're talking straight up coffee vs. tea with no extra flavors, then tea.

I drink and enjoy both, ive learned over the years though that coffee isn't meant to be sweetened, dont even bother with the sugar or hell even the creamer, just learn to love it black because all that sugar does it make it sludgier and nastier. Drinking Black Coffee - stare at the wall!

I drink tea every morning however, have for over a decade now. Its chai tea but its the real stuff, not the shitty sugary liquid candy they pass off as chai at Starbucks and Borders and places like that - I'm talking the kind where you buy the tea leaves in a box thats marked "Indian Tea" , brew it in a pot, let it boil - add cold milk (1 cup water to 1 cup milk ratio), allow it to heat up and boil again. Remove from heat and serve.

Couple local coffee places. Although they will do it at any coffee shop (although you might get weird looks). Just buy like a vanilla chai and ask them to put a shot of expresso in it.

I'll drink at least a 32 ounce iced tea (straight up) or a large mug of hot green tea daily. Instant iced tea just doesn't cut it- it tastes fake.

Seattle's Best cappucino is great once in awhile. Whenever I shop at Borders, I just have to make a pitstop to their SB joint.

The people I work with go on coffee runs and it does seem like they are addicted to the stuff. Sometimes when I feel really run down I'll get some but it's so very rare. I don't understand why people drink coffee and fucking put so much other shit in it. When I drink coffee I drink it with no sugar no cream. Like it was meant to be.
