No freakin' way! I worked many seasons at Ski Roundtop - Liberty's sister area just up Rt15 outside of Dillsburg. I was at Liberty frequently enough as well. Back in 96-99 we used to be down there a lot for contests. Damn I wish I could remember some of the guys names who worked there. There was that one dude with dread locks.. oh wait that could be any one of a dozen snowboarders...
I was also at Solitude in UT for a season, but failed my urinalysis so was quickly unemployed, but manage lift access throughout the season thanks to a new $5000 credit card. ..smart real smart -though it was entirley worth it as the Wasatch Mnts were the time of my life!

And really I have to agree about the instructors and admit my exageration. Most of the ski instructors at Roundtop were much older and definately not interested in roughneck snowboarders. The lift attendants were where its at!

His name is Mark Gagnier. I went to the same high school as him, and I know his brother and sisters real well. I got to know one of his sisters really well. It's a small world.

You may also remember Scotty Clark, maybe? Good rider, and an old buddy of mine.

IBTN, and the mountain staff in Colorado was much hotter.

  5. Back in the days of GameFan, when I first started, they were still of the mindset that at deadline, everybody on the staff (writing and layout wise) should be at the office "just in case," even if you had everything you were supposed to do done. So, there were a couple weekends where I ended up staying at the office for long enough that I had to get some sleep there.

The downside is that when I'm finally off my mind will not allow me to simply sit down and relax. I usually have to drink or at least be social.
The good thing is that busy shifts tend to go by faster.

That is sort of where I'm at now. Our house does mucho political work, and the rebuttal ads and the such can be last second, so noone leaves until our clients tell us they are going home too.

  8. I've slept at work a few times during the winter when the snow storms roll in. It sucks.

  9. I get really, really sleepy at meetings, although thankfully I haven't napped in one in a long time (different case at my old job).

I never napped in my office. Can't really sleep anyway because anyone who looks inside my office will notice. I could close the door, but that would make people suspicious because I never do that.

  10. Always close your door, from day one, so that it becomes a habbit to hide your promisciousness.
