Thread: Inmate forcibly tattoos another

  1. You sure know how to villianize an argument... not that that was a particularly hard argument to villianize.
    o_O

  2. Emotional appeal beats out years of rational logic, again. I love this country.

People are stupid, especially in large groups. You know this Yoshi. Vigilante justice is only good if it is done by a lone figure like Batman or Jesus.

Not really in support of it. Note I said almost inclined. The people I'm referring to are not guilty in my opinion, in so far as they are utterly incapable of distinguishing 'right and wrong' behavior. The person in my example (actually a relative, so if I support eugenics I am supporting my own elimination from the gene pool) will be released from prison in his late 20's- and he will most likely be returned to the custody of his now quite elderly parents, where he will again pose a definite threat to their well-being, as well as the community's. And he will certainly wind up back in prison. What is truly the moral alternative?

Our society's approach to this is akin someone having a puppy they utterly fail to socialize, and then as an adult the dog is vicious. The dog, through no fault of its own, is a definite threat to society which has to be eliminated some way.
To boldly go where lots of men have gone before...
