I already own all these for my SNES which is still hooked up to my TV. So no buy.

The Wii is totally fun as shit. I plan on taking it up to Massachussetts this weekend for partyage.

There are no rules, only consequences.

  2. Same story on my Thanksgiving. We took the Wii over my friends house and everybody loved it. I think it was Mzo who sent me an Adolph Hitler Mii and everybody kept using him. He looks so serious! The Afro Man that Bahn sent was a very popular choice as well!

  3. I made Emperor Palpatine. The face is dead-on but the hair isn't perfect. I think I sent him to everyone that's added me so far.

  4. Same Thanksgiving story here. Wii over to my sister's place in Massachussetts, it didn't get touched until after dinner, and then nobody would stop playing it. I showed off Excite Truck and Trauma Center, just to prove there's more than the one game for it, but Wii Sports ruled the night. My Mom got addicted to Bowling!

  5. Bowling seems to be the one that gets everybody, my g/f loves it. Today I had my Mom try it after dinner (the only videogame she's ever played is Tetris) and she really got into it.

How is everyone transporting their Wii around? I've been putting it in the box it came in, but that's a pretty fragile box.

Same. I've been keeping my eye out for something better, but really, there are no Wii accessories to speak of anywhere. The Naki G-Pak is all I've seen and it looks terrible. Guess we'll be sticking with the box in the meantime.

Also, anyone using controller gloves? I picked one up and I do like the feel of the controller after it, but I don't much like the way button presses feel after it. I was fine in Zelda, but I like the buttons being raised, rather than just at the surface of the controller, or even recessed, as a lot of them feel. Wondering how anyone else felt about them.

I tried a controller glove, it did give the wiimote a nice feel but I had the same problem you did with the buttons. The home button becomes almost impossible to hit. I might pick up a glove if they ever make one that tapers down around the buttons.

The accessory I'm most excited about is this:

Joytech Wii Power Station, a dual charger and controller rack in one

  8. I put the system in a brown paper bag with handles, tossing games and controllers in on top. I wrapped the system itself in a plastic bag first, though.

There are better ways to transport it, I'm sure, but it worked fine.

    That wasn't my Hitler.

Spo is right, Bonk 1 is generic, slow, and boring. Yes, I played and beat it when it came out at my cousin's house (I wasn't stupid enough to buy a TG16) and I remember enjoying it. I later played it and beat it on an emu and , much like Thundercats and the majority of the shit I liked as a kid, it sucked.

Bonk 2 is still playable. Bonk 3 is trash again.
