How come no one has those any more, not even cd or dvd places. There was a time where everyone one of those style stores had one. I only ask cause a friend bought a tutorial DVD online off ebay and when he got it it was scratched to hell still plays but skips from time to time in one particular area where theres a huge scratch. Back in the day you could have taken that dvd to a Gamestop or any cd/dvd place and gotten it resurfaced and bam perfect again. I wish places still had them.
They were being pushed cuz they probably had a contract with them or something. When an employee sells one, they get a commission on each. It was like $2 commission for each sale. I remember getting like $40 on one paycheck (get paid every 2 weeks). $20 per week, 10 a week, not bad at all. Whats worse was when I think Xbox launched, we included that shit with the bundles. People started to complain so Corporate decided to stop bundling it.
Nintendo delivers Wii's in ice cream truck. They even open it up to show how its packaged.

iLounge, an Apple/iPod website, posted a three part article on the Wii. It's more...I dunno, personal then other articles, so here it is.

Shows the Wii being unpacked, and has stuff on Excite Truck, Wii Sports, and Zelda.
Not much text, but pretty good pictures. Lots of new stuff, even if the actual game pictures are of bad quality.
I was planning on making a custom DVD case insert for Wii Sports, using another Wii game's insert as a template and putting in the graphics and stuff scanned in from the cardboard case. I'll post it up here if anyone else would like one.
I'm getting pretty good at making DVD inserts, as long as I have good original artwork. *points at avatar* *ahem*
If you know anyone who works at a game store, you can probably get them to toss you one without any problem. Display boxes are plentiful.
