Thread: Official Xbox 360 Thread

  1. I have a technical question. When I hook up my ipod mini to the 360 it only recognizes like 260 out of my 600 songs. Does anybody know how I can get it to recognize the rest?

The system has a serial number independent of the hard drive that is coded into the dashboard (you can check it out on the system info menu).

Are all of your songs encoded in mp3 format?

There is NO CHANCE IN HELL that that story is true.

    Trust me.

Also TNL, have I ever told you that I love you, and how grateful I am for you?

  5. I heard that story too, but if I recall, the stolen 360 still had the owner's gamertag on it and signed in automatically when it was hooked up to the net.

I dunno, I guess the ones I got off of itunes aren't right? How can I fix that?

  7. Songs you purchase from Itunes wont work on the 360 so you have to burn the songs to a cd, then upload them back on to itunes as mp3s. Huge hassle

An alternate route is to find a program that removes the Apple DRM Fairplay code from your iTunes songs. There was a program called JHymn that did it, but I don't think it works with songs purchased from iTunes 6.0 and later.

So did mine, and the villain signed in at least twice before catching on. IT DOESN'T MATTER.

It really is a pain in the ass, also when I tried doing that it still didn't work. I need to see if that DRM removal program will work.
