Oh god that was horrible. He couldn't even bounce off anybody.
I posted that hacked Mario as a joke...

  2. I just don't understand why certain projects are developed to/almost to completion and then are dropped. Certainly there are some bad games out there. But then there are some like Propeller Arena that are pretty much fully developed, had trailers, previews, REVIEWS, and everything but never came out.

What the heck? It doesn't cost them anything to print the discs and have people throw them money.

    * Note, I never played PA (always wanted to but won't pirate), but it sounded like it was complete.

  3. Yeah, PA was 100% complete. It was supposedly canned because they thought aerial combat would be tasteless just a couple months after 9/11

  4. ive got a copy of it and it just feels like a tech demo.

    Yes, it's a bootleg.

  6. shameless plug....shameless

  7. There's a Sonic bootleg on SNES. Seems to be based on Speed Gonzales. I can't figure out what the Super Mario thing is a hack of.

It was over 90% done, supposedly, which makes it all the more baffling that it got axed, especially considering the fact that the 33% complete SVC Chaos actually got published. Stupid playmore.

Another fighter that looked promising is Psikyo's fighter Daraku Tenshi: The Fallen Angel's. It was supposed to come out in 1998, so I doubt it would have gotten much attention given the competition at the time (3rd Strike, Garou, KoF 98, SFA3), but it had a lot of potential.
The graphics were some of the best in a 2D fighter at the time, with big sprites and detailed backgrounds, and the character designs were okay too. The character designer actually went on to develop character's for KoF, which explains why K' looks so much like Cool.
The gameplay doesn't stray too far from SF, but it's different enough to justify playing.
You can play it through Mame. Its fucking horrible.

I think that was a lame excuse put up by Sega. The DC was dying at that point and they didn't want to bother with it.
