I consider this a good thing. Pickering is the only town who has a large two story mall that was obsolete before construction was complete (Hey-yo Oshawa).

That's just the wafts coming off of Pickering in to Ajax because of the giant sized fan you built for no reason at the harbour. Luckily for us the Pickering engineers can only get it to work 2 days out of the month.

There were plenty of people calling the analog stick a gimmick before they used it though, just like people are calling the Wiimote a gimmick before using it. Wii Bowling proves the utility of the Wiimote and demonstrates it's advantages regarding gameplay, and that's just the pack-in game.

But again even plenty of people who have used it find it gimmicky. I know I haven't been the least bit impressed. I'm sure excite trucks is just a shitty game, and I'm hoping more games use it to better effect. But I'm just not seeing how it's an improvement, it's different but it seems like a lateral move. Mario galaxy is a make or break it for me on the wii. Maybe the controls will be smooth and unlike anything a controller can handle. I just severely doubt it, a normal controller looks like it would suffice.
