Dude, you just bought a PS3.

I'll download it this week. More Oblivion is good.
    "Fiends! Animals! Bastards!"

The PS3 was cheaper than the PC parts too, which is why $30 for a download is not too appealing.

Stupid Bethesda. Shivering Isles can be played during the XBL downtime, but all of the other addons require actually being online. So unless you want to wave goodbye to important things like anything stored in an addon building or your armoured horse, you can't play Oblivion during the downtime

Wait, what? Are you 100% sure?

Absolutely positive. I got a warning when I tried loading my save, did it anyway for shits and giggles, and my fucking horse had disappeared. Traveled to Frostcrag Spire to get supplies, and it was gone too.

    Great job Bethesda.

  6. So far, Shivering Isles is pretty damn good. Looks great, the new dialogs are pretty cool, and its a massive new area to run around and explore which was the best part of Oblivion. No complaints here.

then get it as a "non-download" for the pc you just built.

  8. I'm considering buying Oblivion for 360. I beat it on PC when it came out and I wanted to play the expansions.

Also, I bet it looks really good on the 360 and the achievement points would be nice.

Too bad it's still 70 bucks canadian up here. Ugh.

  9. i still pick the pc version for all the player created mods.

You could always pick it up for the PS3 and wait a few months for it to be released there. At least that way you'd have something worth playing.
