I dont know. I can watch an ep once in a while, but can I handle the whole movie? Plus I pretty much hate most of the cast in it, except CGI dog
Probably will rent it for DJ, when it comes to video![]()
I was a big fan of the cartoon growing up and I still catch a episode these days every once in awhile. What's up with the Scooby-Doo live action Movie, the previews clips I've been seeing are the whole gang dancing to a Outcast song, or Fred talking all tough, kids will sure like this. I might check it out but it isn't looking to great IMO.

I will be the first to admit that i liked the show when i was young but contrary to others show(like G1 transformers),Scooby-Doo is a show that didn't aged well(like the Flinstones). The joke attemp are irratating, the animation is lousy and i don't talk about today standard.
And i predict that the movie will be like the second flinstones movie, something that we french call"un NAVET"!
They didn't even make Daphne a redhead. Talk about lame.

Well, Here is Ebert review for Scooby DooEnjoy:
http://www.suntimes.com/output/ebert...scooby14f.html
Well, Its the worst review out of 3 that he wrote today. And most pointless. How can you expect to get a positive review, from the person who is obviusly biased against the film?
Not like I'm planning to see the Scooby and the gang in theaters, but this review is just stupid.
"I am not the person to review this movie. I have never seen the "Scooby-Doo" television program, and on the basis of the film I have no desire to start now."
so thankfully, he didn't try his best to rip it apart like he does with a half-dozen films he doesn't see eye-to-eye with. At least he's right with what he said from his view, so I'm guessing it's for the fans only... kinda like the way Jay and Silent Bob should be looked at.![]()
I'm thinking I may go, I used to watch the show every now and then.![]()
don't wanna tangle with you, I'd rather tangle with him.
I think I'm gonna bash his head in...
Damn, I cant belive it. Its just made $56 mill over this weekend. !![]()
Why cant good movies make money for a chane
He's at it again !! Check this out:
"I am not the person to review this movie. I have never seen the "Scooby-Doo" television program..."
...and then...
"But those people [Scooby fans], however numerous they are, might perhaps find themselves going to a movie with people like myself--people who found, even at a very young age, that the world was filled with entertainment choices more stimulating than "Scooby-Doo.""
How could he know how un-stimulating the show is if he's never seen it ?? He's right, but still...
Ebert does end with a great last line, though. After admitting he's not the person to review this movie he says...
"The Internet was invented so that you can find someone else's review of "Scooby-Doo." Start surfing."
Very honest of him
