sleeve- the tg16 emulation isnt perfect but its good. It plays well but its a tad blurry. If you have a classic controller X and Y are turbo buttons so it plays like the original.

btw , typing on a psp sucks. Im too lazy to turn the laptop on.

In fact, the only VC game I have downloaded so far is Bonk's Adventure because I don't feel like any of the games on there justify the price point yet. I just can't see paying $8 for F-Zero when I could find it for $5 used. Also, I can't wait for them to sell Super Mario Bros. for $5 when the original NES carts go for about 35 cents. Bonks Adventure really hasn't been worth it either, I just bought it because I never had a TG-16.

Same here; I own almost every VC game in it's original cart format so the VC is a waste of time for me (as much as I adore the classic controller). I never owned a TG-16 and always wanted one so I snagged Bonk, and it's dissapointing. It's just not that great a game.

I'll get excited about the VC when they upgrade the games with new graphics or levels or online play, or when they at least release games that we don't all have easy access to already.

Yeah Japanese systems and US systems can only pick their own specific region. It sucks. You don't even get english options for the menu's in the Japanese version.

Bonk has to click. It's no Mario game, but once you get it down and you're bouncing off enemies and juggling them in the air, it's a lot of fun. I didn't like it much at all most of my first playthrough.

Any company who tries to charge $10 for N64 games in 2006/2007 has no business using cost as an excuse for anything.

If the VC does not offer online play (I could live without leaderboards, but it would certainly add life to games like Pinbot and Alien Crush), then there is absolutely no point in buying these VC titles. People are crowing that Alien Crush is going to be available for the VC on Monday (at least for the US). You know what? I can play that on my Xbox right now (and I'd rather play Devil's Crush). And I can play just about any game that will be eventually be released on the VC.

The only titles I would consider purchasing would be the light gun games, since you can't replicate that in emulation. Otherwise, there's no point. Online play would have been the one clear advantage the VC would have over emulation.
