Yeah, $200, more or less.
Come on man, $100 to make a modern console known for it's great online play wireless is pretty fucking outrageous. Fortunately there are other ways to do it (I'm going to snag a wireless bridge).
If a cheaper option weren't available this would be a dealbreaker for me; I'm getting 360 largely for games like Gears of War and Halo 3 online. My videogame systems are on the other side of the house from my wireless router. For me that would effectively make the price of the console $500.
Why are we talking about this here?
Because KBuchanan and Joust crashed into each other.
I bought Gunstar Heroes. I already own the cart, but my Genesis isn't hooked up enough to get any serious play in. Not so sure this plays great with the Wii Remote. I hope to score a classic controller tomorrow.
I also bought Super Star Soldier and I've really enjoyed it so far. I really dig the power-up system, and it plays great with the Wii Remote. The graphics have obviously been scaled or filtered, causing a bit of blur, but it's nothing too bad.
Shooters are perfect games for quick pick-up-and-play sessions, which makes them perfect for VC. I hope we get a lot more soon.
I can see myself buying a lot of TG-16 stuff. I never owned the console until the last few years, so I missed out on just about everything. I hope we eventually get some of the Japanese exclusives and CD games.

Today I realized that trading in games to GameStop/EB can actually make sense. I turned some games I'd never play into Wii points that can buy lots of Virtual Console titles.
From what I've read, Super Star Soldier seems to be similar to Gunstar Heroes. Is it? I ask because Gunstar Heroes is the best game ever
