Spo is the furthest thing from the problem in this thread. It would be nice if the mods would cut back on the trolling BS rather than piss at Spo who is only giving his opinions of a system and games he owns and enjoys.

How about pulling out the banhammer on the asses who continue with the personal attacks? That way you wouldn't have to worry about anyone responding.

My brother's store got a couple of these in, and over the past few days everyone who's tried the Wii has been disappointed. Even the people playing Zelda are always like "Oh, you can see this used to be a Gamecube game", everyone LOLs at Red Steel, and everyone plays Wii sports for 20 minutes then discards it for a gimmicky diversion.

It seems like a neat system, but the software and graphics are killing it in terms of the public opinion around here. Granted, the demographic we're observing is almost entirely teenage boys, but even the interface and all the Mii stuff seems like a big turn off. I only mention this because it seems to be doing so well, which is the reverse situation we're having here.

I don't think Wii is doing well anywhere on the strength of the 14 year old core gamer market; it's their older/younger siblings and parents that are driving sales. Does your brother work for a major retailer or a mom and pop store?
