I don't play shitty games like Orta, and I haven't had a problem with an Xbox.

The only "real" problem the xbox has had was the big drought of good games it had for close to 9 months.

the hardware problems should be expected by any product without the word "Nintendo" in front if it, and MS doesn't give a fuck about BC becuase most of their fanbase has the games they want(Shooters/Sports) The people who bought games like Orta don't even exist in MS's eyes.

Back in college, me and a friend put something like 80 hours into the original. I think Pikachu was around 35 hours, and i was the only one who ever used him. Ness was pretty high on hours too, he was my number 2.
Smash Bros. Melee was just as bad. I'd go over to my friend's house at 1am to have some alcohol and scream bad words at the screen while Pichu did his best to kill the Bowser. I'm not sure how much time we put into it. We played it a few hours every night for a long, long time. It only got boring after 4 hour sessions, and it was always good the next day. I got Melee myself after i moved to the real world, but at the time i didn't have anyone to play it with. It's nothing without friends.

What amazes me is that SSBM is still $30.

Has anyone ever figured out what exactly causes the red ring of death? I wonder if it's the anti-piracy code in the firmware or actual defective hardware components.
