I know this has already been touched on, but for those who missed it, or are just interested to read big media outlet's coverage of the gaming world, here is a link to a NYTimes article about the Wii remote and its potnetial hazards (require free account):Sweaty Palmed Spazes
I didn't even notice that the official game cases had "Wii" stamped inside them. I just assumed since I got official Nintendo promo white cases they were identical. Bugger.
-edit- Nice, looks like six games might hit next week. Two are crap, and Far Cry is questionable, but Metal Slug, Elebits, and Super Swing Golf should all show up as well.

There are rumors that Far Cry was delayed because Ubisoft has either A) implemented online play or B) inserted code so that online play can be activated with a patch. I don't believe either are true, but you never know. It does need an edge to sell, considering it looks like shit and has to compete with two quality FPSes in Red Steel and CoD3.
I read a couple japanese reviews of Super Swing Golf; the gameplay sounds fun (and you can play with timed button presses if you don't like the motion control) but it just looks so generic and boring. When will someone give us mini golf instead of these pseudo-fantasy golf games?
Elebits looks like it's going to be a fantastic game and a sleeper hit.

Gamers don't care about online or graphics.
They don't care about your posts either.

Unconfirmed, and this thread is proof.
It's a good thing the Wii isn't about online or graphics then, isn't it.
Meanwhile, nobody here has mentioned this yet?
