There are component cables available at Best Buy for $25. I think they were made by React.

LOL, a Wii black eye.

No, officer, I didn't punch my wife. It was a Wiimore accident, I swear.
Unfortanetly not a single BB in the Northern NJ area has received them or has any idea on when they will receive them. I broke down and just ordered them from Nintendo, I know the day they ship is when hundreds of the react component cables will show up at every BB in NJ. It's my fucking luck, I really shouldn't have to pay 40 bucks with shipping for something that I should have been able to buy day one in a store for 25. The fucking things better get here fast from Nintendo.
Sometimes Tyler spoke for me.
I fell down some stairs.

I got hit with a Wiimote.

John: if it's any consolation, the Nintendo cables have pretty good build quailty (about the same as the cube cables,) while the React PS3 component cables I saw in Best Buy look cheap as hell, kind of like the generic Madcatz component cables that you see at EB/Gamestop.
We had our first Wii-related accident today. You know how we always scoff at the "make sure there are no breakables, etc" screen that pops up at every Wii game? I was chilling on the couch playing some MMX on PSP, and my girl was taking the Wii Sports fitness test, doing something in tennis. Now, she used to play tennis in college and high school, so instead of flicking the wiimote like I do, she does the full tennis swing. Suddenly I hear *CRASH*
I look over and she has the look of the 2 year old who just spilled all the milk on the floor-she shattered a glass that was sitting on the table with the Wiimote. She hit it hard enough that it didn't knock over, the top part just shattered and the bottom just sat there, like the bottle breaking minigame in AOF1. Her hand and the Wii Remote didn't have a scratch, so after we picked up the glass and vacuumed, I mocked her quite a bit.

The crack on the right is from the first time the guy's wiimote hit the screen....
