    I love how you people look at a guy who trains to fight for a living, kicks ass and bleeds in the ring, and expect him to start sipping tea with his pinky extended and shit when Joe Rogan interviews him afterwards.
    Let's count how many guys won the belt and decided NOT to act like a meathead:

    LHW:
    Machida
    Griffin
    Rampage
    Chuck
    Randy

    MW:
    Silva
    Silva
    Silva
    Silva
    Franklin

    WW:
    GSP
    Serra
    GSP
    Hughes

    LW:
    BJ
    Sherk

    Not asking for tea/crumpets. Asking he tone down the WWE shit (which he admitted afterward was part of the deal...I'm looking at all the Lesnar apologists who said this was "pure emotion").

    Maybe he'll figure out some day who he really is: a down-to-earth dude (plenty of stories that's who he "really is")...or an idiot who thinks acting like a meathead is cool.

    Either way (and here's where Pa is 100% right on), I'll be buying his next PPV. Just to root against him.

    Yeah...all of the guys you listed act 100% professionally when they win. Let's see...

    LHW:
    Machida = I dunno what he does. Probably something all manly like chugging brewskis.
    Griffin = too busted up to ever celebrate
    Rampage = howls at the moon like rabid doggie
    Chuck = spreads his arms and screams in orgasmic rage
    Randy = not sure, probably goes home and drowns kittens

    MW:
    Silva = does a strange dance where he wiggles his hips while playing cock air guitar
    Silva = see above
    Silva = see above
    Silva = see above
    Franklin = shoots up smack after Joe Rogan interview, cries because he knows Silva fight is coming next

    WW:
    GSP = does silly little backflips like a circus clown while speaking broken English
    Serra = babbles like Super Mario and then goes home to teach BJJ 10 minutes from my house
    GSP = see above
    Hughes = fucks livestock

    LW:
    BJ = smokes ganja out of a coconut bong
    Sherk = no one cares

    hold on a second... there's been a lot of crazy talk in the last few pages but I'm calling this post out. Machida and in a way(after unification) Lesnar haven't even defended their titles yet. There is no way they should be looked at as dominant champions yet. GSP and Silva have earned it.. Penn, if he can hold it a few more fights.... these other two guys have a long way to go still. Shit, Machida's first defense is against Shogun. That's no walk in the park.
    look here, upon a sig graveyard.

  8. I was very impressed by Forrest Griffin's level of sportsmanship that time he cried and made a big production of running back to the dressing rooms because he was dissatisfied with his loss. I guess he was running on too much emotions and pure raw sportsmanship to answer Joe Rogan's questions

    Rampage ran shit over with his enormous fucking truck and endangered the lives of many an innocent civilian while running from the cops for 15 minutes or more. But he was funny on the TV and that makes for good sportsmanship.

    Dan Henderson admitted to blasting a dude he knew was knocked out but that's cool too because Bisping is all lippy and stuff and that'll show him. What sportsmanship is I mean.

  9. Henderson should've been fined for that shit, he could have seriously injured Bisping.

    Shields and Lawler were the only talent from Elite XC worth watching. Amp Lee was entertaining, but I don't know if his striker style would work well in the UFC.

    There was Gina of course, but that's something else.

    Brock Lesnar is one of the better wrestlers of modern times. 18 years on the mat. The real mat. The hardcore mat. Try wrestling and tell me how much you'd like to spend 18 years at it. For nothing. Not a dime. Randy Couture did not win the NCAA twice. Brock Lesnar has so much fucking equity in his mat dues that he could lend out enough to make this entire forum King of the Cage champs. I don't even fucking like the guy but this is real life and if I'm the only one here who sees what's going on then I guess I have to tell you all about it too.

    Now, about money. The UFC makes millions on the live gate. Forget PPV revenues and merchandising. They make so much money they have to buy special trucks to haul all that shit to the bank. The money is there. People who are worth it get paid it. In his three years or so in pro wrestling Brock Lesnar made his name fifty times more recognizable to the public than any MMA fighter in the history of the game besides maybe Royce Gracie. You can't expect somebody who has really in real life paid dues on an unimaginable level, is the real deal in the sport and can prove it AND sells more tickets than anybody else on the card to come out and fight for ten grand. And if you want to put his slary next to Mir's fine. Mir is inconsistent as hell and had absolutely zero star power before being propped up by a sham of a TV show. An argument could be made that he's the guy who is undeserving of his pay.
    Yeah! Mike Tyson was offered what, $10 million to fight for K1?

    The UFC needs a dominant heavyweight, much like boxing needed Mike Tyson, Muhammed Ali and Larry Holmes. Love or hate Lesnar, people are going to watch to see if anyone can take him down.
