The elitexe event on showtime last night wasn't bad. Pretty enjoyable considering what I payed for it.

Things I liked:

-production values
-the fighter intro/ramp
-robbie lawler

Things I didn't like

-the commentary
-not showing what's happening in the corners between rounds
-the gina currano weigh in drama

Pretty good free UFC card and the first episode of TUF wasn't bad either.

Shame about serra's first pick basically having no heart and giving up.

i havent skipped a ppv on purpose in a while but i won.t be watching the one this weekend. no fights interest me.

There was a another free UFC card last night? Shit. But now that I think about it, they usually do that right before a new season of TUF starts.

Anyway, the first episode was pretty decent. I still can't believe that dude walked right into that sloppy triangle, made zero attempt to get out of it, and tapped with 5 seconds left in the round.

Ditto about Serra's guy giving up.

I can't stand Hughes and I love Serra. This is going to be one awesomely great season of awesome reality tv. MMA style.
