How anyone can bitch about Fisher/Franca on free TV is beyond me. These guys are basically fighting for #1 contender in the LW division. Gonna be a really fun fight to watch.
I agree this fight is far away the closest fight on the card. I heard that Fisher will back out. Not sure if it's really true.

ill check some of this stuff out. its just that every hermes fight i had seen in the UFC (televised, prolly 3 matches in the past two years) he was boring....like tim sylvia boring and the three matches went to decision.

Franca has finished his last seven fights. He likes to bang (nasty overhand right although he relies on it too much imo) and has excellent jiu jitsu. He also has a ton of heart. I enjoy watching him fight.
On that card Lister/Marquardt has the most potential to be hideously boring. Both are excellent grapplers but they're also about as much fun as watching grass grow. Together I predict they'll take boring to a whole new level.

I thought Spencer Fisher backed out from his fight with Hermes Franca? LOL! His lost by TKO to Franca was so sweet! Also that Salmon knock out by Evans was great. Too bad Herring lost to Jake.He did not fight well and O'brien just does not know enough submission to finish.All in all, it was all good though.

I thought it was great for a free UFC card.
Rashad still seems like a douche, but his skills are approving. That knockout was brutal, no good seeing the guy still laying there at the end like that.
Did anyone notice the one stand up with Franca/Fisher where they were both being active on the ground, pushing the pace/trying to pass/defend and the ref stood them up? Was totally lame.
And that Herring fight was crazy. Yea it sucks that O'brien was nothing but a we blanket, but Herring had no takedown defence, wasn't doing anything to escape, submit, or reverse postion on the ground, and just kept looking at the ref for the stand up. Eff him, atleast try to work you lazy SOB. If O'brien had any idea what he was doing, he would've killed him.
Sweet over the top armbar from short fuse. I love that setup and bust it out regularly.
