I'd been wondering about this show lately. Crap.
It's funny that HBO would can it for being too "dark and violent." HBO used to be edgy...
Dolemite, the Bad-Ass King of all Pimps and Hustlers
Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww
You know those movie series that were really awesome and pushed the envelope, and people loved them? And then they decided they wanted to market it to a bigger audience, so they censored everything and it turned into shit and no one liked it anymore except for parents that never watched the series in the first place and still don't? Don't be that series, HBO.
Dole and Mech are right...WTF HBO? Gimme some good shows so I have a reason to pay $10/month for you.
Director announced for yet another possible film version. We'll see if THIS one ever gets off the ground...

In this case I agree. Granted, I think Preacher tends to wander off the path a few too many times and you could probably lop off about 1/4 to 1/3 of it with no consequences (i.e. the entire tangent with Arseface is pretty useless, adds nothing, and wasn't even very interesting in the first place), but being a series of movies makes me think too much will get cut off. But hey, even if it's worthless I'll still have the comics so if movies are the only way it'll get through then so be it. Might even generate enough interest to do an expanded version at a later time.
Trilogy, maybe?
SAINT OF KILLERS MOVIE?!
