Thread: XNA Racer, holy crap

  1. well its an interesting and easy to use tool for creating good looking games so yeah

  2. Alright, I just played around with this for a few hours and I'm really impressed. This is good shit and so easy to learn, if I get deeper into it I'll definately plunk down the $100 to put stuff on the 360.

  3. They have a bigger hard drive It's either 40/80 gigs.

  4. The guy in the video had 60 gigs left, he could have a 80 gig. The HDTV he had was hot as hell.

  5. So.... wait a minute.

How does this $100 subscription to play work? Do you have to pay for the games on top of the subscription?

What if 360 retail games use this? Do I still need the $100 subscription on top of the $60 DVD I just bought?

  6. No. If you subscribe as a developer, you get to play other developer games. And retail developers might use XNA to make a game, but they'll behave exactly the same for the end user.

  7. No. It's just on the development side.

  8. if anybody cares, xna studio express 1.0 came out the other day and the TorqueX engine from garage games is pretty damn awesome for it
