Thread: Ether Lords

  1. Ether Lords

Well? Has anyone played this game? Im a complete PC moron when it comes to the gaming side of things. So if its toomuch like a diffrent PC game, then I wont mind so much, cause chances are I havent played that other game. I have a Pentium 600, with a Voodoo 3.. uh, something? Anyway, I have higher than the recommended specs, so Im not too worried about that. I was just curious if it was a cool game. Has anyone played it? I cant find a single review for it. Any direction pointing or information giving would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Come again.

  3. Yeah

    So, I played it.

Thinking it would be an awesome half RPG/Card game with my main character building levels while collecting cards to summon massive creatures, buff them, and make them destroy my enemies I eagerly jumped in.

The game held little of my attention (and I like slow, turn based strategy ala PTO2) because of it's boring battles, non existant story and patented boredom generators.

I would give you an indepth review but I had other games that seemed much more interesting at the time.

I though about going back to it once....

I say pass. Get something fun like Dungeon Siege, the gloriously fun Morrowind (running on something with better resolution than a damn TV) or Warrior Kings - which surprised me.

  4. Thanks much Six. I guess I wont worry about it untill I have a more stable computer and EL is cheaper. Or if I can find a demo or something.

APC. Every time I ask someone about a PC game they tell me that its too much like a diffrent PC game. I was just saying that since I havent really played any PC games to any great extent, that I wouldn't care. Guess I worded it wrong or something.

  5. Played the demo. It's alright, but I don't think it would hold my interest very long.
