Thread: Armored Core 4

I don't go by IGN reviews either, but it's because they are almost always too high. I don't think a game they've given anything below a 7 has ever been good.

  2. I wonder if this game would actually score better with reviewers if it wasn't titled "Armored Core 4."

    non-anime-drenched-Mech-Game... Omega?

    ... id buy it

  4. I only mention it because I can see some reviewers look at the title and think "Oh, another Armored Core game," which may subconsciously affect how they perceive the game.

I haven't played the game, so I'm just wondering.

  5. Blockbuster didn't have it yet, ended up with graw 2 maybe I'm better off.

  6. So Far:

Controls take some getting used to.
Some Missions are just plain too short.
So far the loading times arent as disasterous as some of the youtube videos ive seen.
    Its hard.

The fucking DEMO (360) was hard as hell to me.

Yeah, the default controls throw me off sometimes. If I'm playing a 3rd person shooter I automatically go for the shoulder buttons when I want to shoot. Probably better off with the Type B setup

The city level, the water level, or one of the others?

  10. Water level and desert level.

They did get easier when I switched ACs, though not by a whole lot.
