Agreed. If I didnt snag that demo over Live, I wouldnt have gave the game too much thought. I've only played the original 3 (PSX), and Silent Line: AC, up until 4.

EDIT: I do remember hearing about that analog shit a couple of years ago. Dont remember from where. That has to be the most insance, retarded shit any developer has ever done. Bar none.

  2. picked this one up and I really want to like it but I probably need to read like a seven hundred page long guide to build something decent. Even Chromehounds was more user friendly than this.

How is Chromehounds anyway. I been meaning to pick it up.

AC4 was a huge dissapointment. The missions are horribly short and simple. The user interface is so cumbersome you dont know what the hell your doing.

The old set up was so much easier. everything made sense. You have a garage and you have a shop. Now everything is so confusing. I couldnt tell what i bought or what i was just trying on or what. That whole blueprint thing is a novel idea but the execution is horrendous. Hopefully for AC5 they ditch that and go back to the old style. At least then i can tell what the hell im doing.

Yeah. It's really unfriendly to outsiders. I'd advise you to go with medium range parts (sorry can't remember the name), the second to best power supply in regards to output (the best is too heavy), the targeting computer with the quickest tracking, a powerful rifle weapon, a cannon mount, and a radar booster. You might want to switch out the cannon for missile launcher occasionally, but I really got a lot of use out of its extra firepower, especially in duels. Tweak things to give yourself a long lasting boost. You want to be able to stay in the air as long as possible. You'll move faster and be more capable of dodging incoming fire.

Haven't played in a while, but I can look up my old designs later if you want specifics.

Best time I ever had on the 360 outside of Gears sp with a friend. I don't know how healthy the online comunity is now though, single player is shite.

Does anyone have the ps3 version btw? Don't really feel like getting my ass kicked at the moment but maybe later.

  7. Shame, I will probably keep it for a long time if only because of the intro. Best thing I've seen since Onimusha 3.
