Thread: Your Current Generation Wishlist

  1. Space Harrier. Great graphics, cool creatures, super fast gameplay (and now we could do it with good physics and collision detection). Can you imagine that on the 360?

  2. w0rd to that

Give it a big old Outrun branching map, too, maybe.

  3. Did anyone ever played Planet Harrier? The pics I remember seeing in mags look great, but I have never seen the arcade cab.

I would like to see Steel Battalion 2. Not that it is going to happen.

Yes. The graphics were amazing but it lacks the intensity of Space Harrier. It's decent but disappointing for the series.

Burning Rangers 2 - BR was an awesome game begging for a sequel on better 3d hardware. I'm not sure I trust Sonic Team anymore but there's a lot of potential. NiGHTS 2 is more likely to actually happen.

Tex Murphy 6 - I don't care if they use live actors or not, just give me UAKM-style writing and puzzles with an impressive 3d engine.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 - VTMB1 was the best horror game no one bought last gen. I would love to see this series expanded, made more open-ended, and have improved action.
Agree with these. A new Space Harrier and Dragon Force would be sweet too.

Actually, I don't even care if it's a new Tex Murphy game (although, that'd be great). I just want a new hard-boiled adventure game like Snatcher/Policenauts/Blade Runner/Tex Murphpy etc.

    Also, new Jumping Flash please.

  6. Mech Assault 3
Kingdom Hearts 3 (on any console but PS3)
    Sonic (a good one)
    Saints Row 2
    Gunvalkyrie 2 (will never happen)

  7. Advent Rising 2 & 3
I'm probably Advent Rising's biggest fan. I thought it was an excellent game (glitches and all), and was heart-broken about the trilogy not being continued. Putting the sequels on the 360 would complete my life.

    Nights 2
Nights + updated visuals + motion-sensor controls = Nash will buy a Wii.

    Final Fantasy VIII Remake
Yes, that's number 8. It's my favorite of the series, and I'd like to go through it again, but with next-gen visuals. If this ever happens, presumably on the PS3, I'd drop the $600 for it alone.

I want a 2D, hand-drawn, hi-res, pure action Castlevania. It's been 13 God damned years, Konami. It's time. And that's the end of my list.

  9. Street Fighter 4 - Has been rumored to be in development for years, yet no actual confirmation from Capcom. It's 20th anniversary is coming up so hopefully something is announced soon.

Axeley 2 - When you beat it on the hard you get a nice little note saying "see you in Axelay 2". I'm still waiting but apparently it did not sell well enough for Konami to warrent a sequel.

Streets of Rage 4/ Bare Knuckle 4 - Apparently Ancient wanted to do it on the dreamcast but Sega said no. I don't know if thats true or not but I'd still love to see a sequel to my favorite beat em up series.

Actraiser 3 - Not sure if Quintet is still around but I'd love to see a sequel to this series prefferbly on the DS or PSP. More Yuzo Koshiro please.

Akumajo Dracula X III - Nothing else needs to be said. Get on it IGA.

    Worst. List. Ever.
