Thread: Your Current Generation Wishlist

  1. I'm still miffed that no one's made a good 3-D dodgeball game yet. Specifically, I’d like to see 64-man online dodgeball with multiple modes of combat, deep character customization options, and tight, arcade-style gameplay.

Given the wide appeal of the activity amongst the gaming demographic and the already established set of rules/guidelines for playing the game, it is surprising that no modern developer has done this yet.

  2. kotor 3-they already set up the story, hero of 2 meets revan in the outer rim(or whatever they called that area), now we just need to see what revan was looking for.

the next zelda game- im a whore, i accept that

beyond good and evil 2- ok was supposed to be a trilogy, but sold poorly, i dont care, it was good enough to influence peter fucking jackson to pick mike ancil and crew for king kong, so take a hit and give us the rest of the story, make the game really long, do episodic content, dont care, just finish the story.

a new guardian legend- hey remember how cool the rpg/vert scrolling shooter was? imagine it now with polygons and some added depth.that'd be spiffy

  3. Time Crisis 4: A home version for one of the next gen systems, with the usual complement of extras found in a Namco arcade port and a graphic upgrade like Tekken Tag Tournament got on PS2. One good addition would be a side story mode with the player causing some mischief as none other than Wild Dog himself, using 2 guns. Hopefully there's a GunCon 3 released for this one, using an infrared system like the arcade (needed on HDTVs).

Crisis Zone 2: Add stuff like multiple routes through stages (Time Crisis 2 sort of did that), a few Multi-Screen Battles ala Time Crisis 4, and the ability to shoot an RPG. More creative traps than the Red Barrel blast could be set up, such as shooting a chain to cause objects to fall and crush an enemy.

ESPGaluda 2, Ketsui, Ibara: Pink Sweets: Better late than never.

Mushihime-sama Futari: This needs ported as well.

Raiden IV: Raiden III is great, so more of that would be welcome.

Spikeout Battlestreet 2: Either this or a new Streets of Rage.

Rolling Thunder 4: 3D graphics? Fine. But keep the game play 2D, and bring back the 2 player mode that RT3 dropped.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  4. Progear no Arashi - Seriously. Port this to a console. Fucking please!

    That's it. Just Progear.

I want alal of this to be sold for $40 and on the wii/360. I also want a pack in disk with all the Lunar games translated.

i was listening to the entire series OST's in the background yesterday. i'll take panzer in ANY form (be it shooter or RPG) but would truely LOVE another RPG.

Rogue Galaxy for the ps2 seems, at least in spirit, like it could pass for the next SoA. i'm looking foreward to it.

I'd rather see a port of something that won't be emulated for a long, long time.

I played emulated Tetris Attack with a friend at work on two different PCs, although this may have only been a LAN set-up. I don't remember exactly, it was like five years ago. Regardless, it's not quite the same as if they offered it over Live or something.
I heard the same thing about the Shogo expansion. Halflife pretty much killed it. It's weird, but at the time, I had no desire to play Halflife. I went directly to Unreal Tournament.

I think you can play SNES games against friends with ZSNES. I always had problems with that emu detecting the controllers I use. I use Saitek 6 button controllers which are great for playing emulated capcom fighting games.

  9. the 360 controller works just fine with both SNES9x and ZSNES.

Throw in a good single player senario and you got GOTY from me.
::drools:: I would kill for a sequel to this game. It was such a great all around experience, between the foot solider parts, mech parts, and the awesome multiplayer, this is one series that deserves a sequel.
