Not really, but it did have a handful of grossout moments/violent deaths like other horror movies.

The trailer is brilliant. If the movie is 1/2 as good as Shawn, its a instant DVD purchase.

For the fans of SOTD, all the comedy of that film is equaled here if not surpassed. What is different is a greater overall serious tone, one that doesn't try to be pretentious or lofty either. I mean this movie kicks you in the balls and picks you back up to eat your dinner!

I can't say it's better than 300. But it's certainly better than what I expected.

On a side note I recommend everyone go out and find Electric Glide in Blue with Robert Blake and Freebie and the Bean with James Caan and Alan Arkin, those bastards are just as gold.
