They may dictate what the industry does but it doesn't effect what I do. I've said "fuck that noise" about all the GTA ilk for the past 6 years. It will NEVER become my problem because nobody is forcing me to play them.

well, yes and no, i strogly dislike gta type games, but if you look at the games that have come out since gta became its little cultural phenomenon, it's success has lead to a bunch of games that ape one or several of the elements that made it popular. and as such, they are games that i have no desire to play. so the companies that green lighted these projects didnt green light games that i would have enjoyed. so yeah, in reality it did affect what you and i played, and not in a good way. that said this lookes interesting, the art looks good, and the online action bit really interests me, since it sounds like the mana series. so woot, ill probably buy this close to release date.

I have a question for you Dog$, and this is in all seriousness: how old are you and what do you do for a living? If you spend any appreciable length of time in the day away from your home theater setup you probably get the urge to play games away from it. Also, sometimes other people (girlfriends) commandeer the tv and you're forced to play games on a handheld (unless you want to watch Gilmore Girls, which I don't).

Haha, the band member guy. I don't know, I haven't seen a recent episode in like a year. I watched every single one religiously and then just... stopped. The asshole guys Rory chose really turned me off over time.
