Guys, if you were to pick one between GRAW 2 vs Rainbow Six Vegas, which one would you choose (and why)?

GRAW2 shines, I didn't feel the next-gen experience until I played this. I got nothing bad to say about this game, in fact. Just check out the GRAW2 dev diary - the smoke, fires and light FX are jawdropping:


Vegas is rumoured to be fun in multiplayer, I personally hated the game. Blurry graphics, horrible textures, dumbed down gameplay. If you liked the previous R6 games, then you might wan't to stay clear of this one. It's more FPS than tactical.

MechDeus: No, I guess not, I should probably answer your post in the old thread, but I have been real busy. I may not be clear in my definition of tac-sim, or the definition may have changed over time. The R6 series has been dumbed down beyond my liking though. I admit the movie you just posted makes the game look fun. That was just not my hands-on experience, sadly.

Vegas is definitely better than GRAW, in both single-player and multi, though its presentation isn't as sleek.

just tried out the demo on PSN. i have never really been into any of the Clancy games besides Splinter Cell because they have always seemed to goddamned complicated for their own good. too many buttons, then you throw in having to baby sit 3 other AI characters. the single players certainly isn't for me but i can imagine the multiplayer being a friggin blast.

I loved the game for 360. Single player is really intense and the coop missions are fun, but achievements were the main reason we all played through them. Single player is worth it though IMO.
