I think the fact that you realize you can see every meaningful thing in 10 minutes adds another layer of humour. The game was fucking hilarious, but I don't think I laughed at anything he did until the ending.

Also, this is not the worst game ever. I have a paper bag full of random 100 yen bargain bin Japanese Saturn quasi-hentai datesim garbage posing as rpgs that make this look inspired. I'll put my copies of ZERO 4 CHAMP DOOZY J TYPE-R or Can-Can Bunny Plumiere up against this any time. Can-Can Bunny Plumiere will eat your soul.

Most of them I got with the Saturn, the store was having a "get a Saturn and 40 games for (the equivalent of) $60" deal. I knew most of the games were hot garbage they'd never sell in a million years and were just shoveling in to recoup some kind of money, but there were some good ones I was going to buy anyway thrown in there too, and a couple of hidden gems (Hang On '95 is surprisingly awesome).

Some were from a cheapo bin and the publishers wisely did not include screenshots on the back and made them look like JPRGs on the front. And some I just bought because I buy things for no better reason than they say things like ZERO 4 CHAMP DOOZY J TYPE-R on the front. I like to think I got my 65 yen worth of entertainment from the cover alone.

You should be careful what you wish for. I'm pretty sure Minakata Hakudou Appearance is the gaming equivalent of the video from The Ring. Some things just shouldn't be let into wide circulation for the good of humanity.

My Saturn & games are in a basement somewhere in the mountain village of Yase so they're kind of inaccessible ATM even if I wanted to inflict Boy Kindaichi's Casefile: Starwatch Island Mournful Revenge Demon on the world.

Zero 4 Champ is the greatest drag racing dungeon crawling adventure game series ever made. A lot of people pretend that everything from the 32 bit systems and on don't exist though.
