Thread: Official Wii Thread: Part 4

  1. According to the VGCharts site everyone is having so much fun with, PS2 RE4 moved 705,000 units while the Gamecube version cleared 898,500 in the US alone.

  2. And came out later and has a lot more third party games to compete with.

And was on a system with 5 times the user base, no competition from the biggest and most successful software publisher in the world (Nintendo), and had a more receptive audience (M rated games traditionally don't sell on Nintendo systems).

  5. 1.2 million sales worldwide. That not bad for any 3rd party. Especially on a "dead" console.

Edit: Also I think that makes it the highest selling GC game in 2005. Looking for some other sales to back that up though.

  6. Games that don't say Nintendo traditionally don't sell well on Nintendo systems. Have fun with RE spinoff.

    Fixed.

  8. Crystal Chronicles says hi. It sold over a million units even with all kinds of problems trailing it.

whlile there is no doubt that a nintendo platform works for the sake of nintendo games, a good 3rd party game can still shine on their platform.

  9. I lol at the stupid, endless arguments Joust baits you fanboys into. Reread what you're writing and realize what you're arguing about or even if you have a point to make.
